Sexual Health Support & Advice

The YMCA East London Youth Service is part of the national sexual health initiative delivered throughout the UK.

Come Correct provides vulnerable young 14+ year olds with practical sexual health advice and support, enabling them to make informed choices and achieve healthy sexual lifestyles and avoid health outcomes that impact negatively on their emotional wellbeing.

Local young people attending a session will be able to talk to a Youth Worker / Trained Volunteer in a safe, unpressurised and confidential environment, and will have access to:

  • Free condoms
  • Contraception and sexual health advice on a range of subjects, including STIs, avoiding unwanted pregnancies & peer pressure
  • Opportunities to disclose concerns about abusive or coercive relationships
  • Signposting to LBWF Target Youth Support Service, Social Services, Early Intervention Team & Health Professionals

Drop In Session 

Monday: 2:00pm – 3.00pm

Wednesday & Friday: 5.00pm – 7.00pm

Ask at reception for directions to the room or look for the room with the Come_Correct logo.

Additional Drop In Sessions Conducted During Activity Sessions

Basketball: Tuesday & Friday 5:30pm – 7:30pm
Diva Zone: Tuesday 4.00pm – 6.00pm
